Beginning to Come Together

Over the last few weeks I’ve been checking out the current crop of Quaker blogs, talking with Friends about this site and generally trying to check the pulse of this society.  What I’ve found is that everywhere I look there are people wanting to push the limits of what Quakerism has traditionally embraced.  What I find most exciting is how many people have actually encouraged me to jump into the fray and get this blog going.

I’ve also settled on a format for posting here, just to give myself some structure.  Every week I’ll try to have a feature post from a contributing writer about what their idea of Quaker 2.0 might look like, and how we as a society could benefit from the upgrade (to quote Under the Green Hill - thanks for the link!).  If you’re interested in contributing, let me know!

In the mean-time, expect to see more posts in this top news section as I begin to respond to what I see happening around us.
